If there is one name
that has been synonymous with Canadian standup comedy over the past
20 years, it is Larry
Horowitz. Often referred to as "The
Dean of Canadian Comedy", Larry has performed in almost every live
venue in North America.
Larry has appeared on TV shows ranging from "An Evening at
the Improv" to "The Late Show with David Letterman" and was
recently featured in his own episode of CBC's "COMICS!". He
has also authored 3 published books on humor and currently conducts
lectures and seminars on the practical applications of
comedy. His debut comedy CD is available on Attic
Records in Canada.
As a corporate entertainer, Larry is virtually untouchable, having
performed at several thousand functions, including engagements for
General Motors, Kodak, Royal Bank, TD Bank, CIBC, BC Tel Mobility,
Ontario Real Estate Association, Ontario Hydro, Shoppers Drug Mart,
Ottawa General Hospital, Girl Guides of Canada, Regent Holidays, Du
Pont and Weston Bakeries, among others.
