For almost 19 years I worked with and shared a friendship with Ernie
Coombs, better known as CBC's MR. DRESSUP. He was an icon in the Canadian
television industry and touched the hearts and lives of literally millions
of Canadians. On September 18, 2001, Ernie passed away at the age of 73.
His death has been mourned by Canadians from coast to coast and many of
them have expressed their sadness via thousands of emails, cards, and
letters. For me it was the loss of one of my best friends and I miss and
think about him everyday. I rummaged through my old pictures and found
a few of Ernie and I performing together and I thought I'd share them
with you. If you ever want to send me an email regarding Ernie or his
TV show, please do and I'll do my best to respond. I hope you enjoy these
photos of Ernie and I...

Who is that guy with the orange guitar?
Is this a shot from Woodstock? Is this guy going to burn his guitar
when he’s done playing? |
| Look carefully! Is that Elton on guitar behind Jim?
What’s that orange thing under the clouds in the background? |
Jim & Elton John?
