What do "Tears of a Clown" by Smokey Robinson, "Respect" by Aretha Franklin, "My Girl" by the Temptations, "On Bended Knee" by Boys II Men or "Sugar Pie" by The Four Tops to name a few have in common? The common denominator between these songs along with many other Motown, as well as Adult contemporary hits, is, these songs represent a time in music history when everyone could enjoy as a collective the sounds of such melodies.

Unfortunately, in today's society that genre of music has somehow been lost. The common factor is no longer present; a line has created a division between today and yesterday's generation. How can this common foundation be restored? How is it that we can have music that can make everyone feel happy, peaceful and just overall comfortable?

The answer is quite simple. Provide the general public with a taste of that musical era. Give them the chance to reminisce as to when and where they were when they first heard their favourite Motown song. Also, it will give today's generation the chance to appreciate where their hit songs originated.

BLuSouL consists of four extremely talented male singers, Hector Johnson, Jivaro Smith, Edward Dottin, Bubba and Jeremiah Sparks, who together will take you back to the days of Motown.
